In fact, a well-designed brush motor can easily be as durable as a brushless one-with a much more competitive price.

One client of our company who manufacture outdoor Solar panel cleaning machine was facing the same dilemma in choosing a brush or brushless motor. After the measurements, it realized that brushless motor have in fact a high rate of failure rate under humid environments, and thus decided to use brush motors. Our company customized the motor for the client to make it not only waterproof but also sparkless and even more durable than before.
